Getting Started

Brevton is in early access. Here’s how you go from requesting access to your first cited answer.

  2. 2Create a project for one research question.
  3. 3Upload papers, reports or patents (PDF, DOCX or TXT).
  4. 4Ask questions in plain English and check the cited passages.
  5. 5Generate summaries and reports, and invite teammates.

Requesting access
Use the request form and tell us a little about your research. We’ll reply by email.
Signing in
Once your account is ready, sign in with the email address you requested access with.
Forgot your password
Email support@brevton.com from your account’s email address and we’ll help you get back in.
Changing your name or email
Email support@brevton.com and we’ll update it for you.
Closing your account
Email support@brevton.com from your account’s email address to ask for your account to be closed.

Research Projects

Projects keep related documents, questions and reports together.

Creating a project
Give it a name, ideally the question it’s meant to answer, then start adding documents.
How big should a project be?
Smaller, focused projects make answers easier to check than one large mixed library.
Sharing a project
Invite teammates to your workspace so they can work on the same projects. Only people you invite have access.

Documents & Uploads

Bring in the papers, patents, reports and policy documents you already work with.

How to upload
Open a project and drag files in, or choose them from your computer, one at a time or several at once.
File formats
Common document formats, for example PDF, DOCX and TXT. If a file doesn’t come through cleanly, email support@brevton.com.
What happens after upload
Brevton extracts the text and indexes it so you can search, ask questions about and summarize the document.
Who can see your documents
Only members of your workspace. Documents aren’t shared with other customers.

AI Research Assistant

The assistant answers from the documents in your project and shows where each answer came from.

Where answers come from
From the documents in your project. Each answer links to the passages it’s based on.
Checking an answer
Open the cited passage and read it in context before you rely on or reuse an answer.
When an answer seems off
Ask a more specific question, or check the right documents are in the project. Tell us about bad answers; it helps us improve.

Summaries & Reports

Brevton summarizes documents, pulls out key findings, groups related work by topic and drafts reports.

How are summaries generated?
Brevton’s AI reads the text of the documents you choose and writes a summary that links back to its sources.
Can I compare several papers?
Yes. Ask how they differ, for example in methods or results, and the answer cites each paper it draws on.
How does topic clustering work?
Brevton groups documents with related content, so you can see which themes a library covers and where sources are thin.
Can I rely on AI summaries?
Use them as a starting point. AI can miss nuance or make mistakes, which is why summaries link back to their sources.
Reports
Reports are drafts built from a project’s findings. Review them and check the sources before you share them.

Plans & Billing

Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Here’s how billing works while Brevton is in early access.

What plans are there?
Starter (₹4,999/month), Professional (₹14,999/month), Business (₹49,999/month) and Enterprise (custom pricing).
Is there a free trial?
Not a self-serve one. Requesting early access is free and needs no credit card. We agree on a plan with you before any billing starts.
How do I pay?
There’s no online checkout yet. We confirm plan and billing details with you directly when your account is set up.
Invoices and plan changes
Email contact@brevton.com for invoices, payment questions or to change plans.

Security & Privacy

How Brevton handles your documents and your account.

Who can see my documents?
Only the members you invite to your workspace. Documents aren’t shared with other customers.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes, in transit: traffic between your browser and Brevton uses HTTPS (TLS).
Where does Brevton run?
On Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Who owns what I upload?
You do. Our Terms state that you keep ownership of the content you upload.

We don’t hold formal security certifications yet. Send security questions to contact@brevton.com.
